Garmin released Forerunner 570 on 15 May 2025. It is the latest in the series of Forerunner running watches.
How does it compare to Forerunner 265? Let’s find out in a compact comparison study below.
For reference of comparing Forerunner 265 and Forerunner 570, we have taken the Forerunner 265 46 mm variant and Forerunner 570’s 47 mm variant.
Let’s find out if it is worth investing an additional $200 to get a Forerunner 570 over the Forerunner 265.
Main differences
- Forerunner 570 47 mm variant is slightly bigger than the Forerunner 265 46 mm variant.
- The bigger size means better display resolution in Forerunner 570 (454 x 454 pixels) compared to Forerunner 265 (416 x 416 pixels).
- Seeing the back case and body, you will find that the Forerunner 570 made of anodized aluminum lends a premium look. In comparison, Forerunner 265 uses a polymer body. That’s a win, in my opinion, for the Forerunner 570.
- The battery backup of Forerunner 265 is marginally higher than the battery backup of Forerunner 570. This is inspite of being an inch smaller than the Forerunner 570. But, the difference is inconsequential to merit a consideration.
- A feature addition in Forerunner 570 gets you an in-built mic and speaker. Forerunner 265 lacks an in-built speaker and mic.
