In addition to the regular Fenix 8 smartwatches, you do have an option to get a Fenix 8 Solar smartwatch.
Fenix 8 Solar smartwatch comes in two size options – 47 mm and 51 mm.
Fenix 8 Solar smartwatches come with Power Sapphire Glass. Power Sapphire glass is Sapphire glass coated with PV or Photo-voltaic cells to help charge the battery of Fenix 8 solar smartwatch.
The core difference between Fenix 8 Solar 47 mm and 51 mm lies in the size. The increased size of Fenix 8 Solar 51 mm implies that it has –
- higher display resolution (280 x 280 pixels) than Fenix 8 47 mm (260 x 260 pixels)
- higher display size (36 mm) than Fenix 8 47 mm (33 mm)
- almost 30 percent higher battery backup (up to 30 days) than Fenix 8 47 mm (up to 21 days)
