Epix Pro 2 Sapphire uses a display lens made of sapphire glass. Enduro 2 has a Power Sapphire glass.

ECG

The Garmin ECG app received FDA approval on 12 January 2023. It was subsequently rolled out in the Venu 2 Plus smartwatches.

At the time of the launch of Epix Pro 2 in May 2023, the Garmin ECG app was unavailable for the smartwatch. Subsequently, in October 2023, support for the Garmin ECG app was added to the Epix Pro 2 smartwatches.

The Garmin ECG app helps in taking on-demand ECG or electrocardiogram readings. This helps in uncovering heart conditions of irregular rhythms or Atrial Fibrillation.

You can share the ECG readings with your medical practitioner.

The Enduro 2 series watch does not support the Garmin ECG app as of October 2023.

Hill score and Endurance score

Hill score and Endurance score are dynamic numbers that foretell your ability to undertake hill climbing or endurance sports.

Both these scores are part of the Epix Pro 2 Sapphire watches. However, Enduro 2 lacks the feature of Hill score and Endurance score.

Final verdict

If you need a solar watch, Enduro 2 is one of the best smartwatches around. By spending $100 more than Epix Pro 2 Sapphire, you get a solar watch with Power Sapphire glass.

Epix Pro 2 Sapphire is a lifestyle smartwatch with lots of features and functionality. It does have most features common with the Enduro 2 smartwatch.

For the following two reasons, you may prefer an Epix Pro 2 smartwatch over the Enduro 2 smartwatch:
